Why Remove Image Metadata?
Digital photos often contain EXIF (Exchangeable Image File Format) metadata that includes sensitive information such as GPS coordinates, camera make and model, date and time, and even the photographer's name.
When you share photos online, this metadata can reveal your location, what device you used, and when the photo was taken. Removing this metadata protects your privacy and prevents unintentional disclosure of personal information.
Our tool strips all EXIF data from your images while preserving the image quality. All processing happens in your browser - your images are never uploaded to our servers.
